IRED organizes and hosts education events at which educators and scholars from Vietnam and other countries can gather to discuss critical educational issues. It also serves as a forum to share and generate ideas and best practices across nations. The events are aimed to provide educators in Vietnam and neighboring countries opportunities to exchange dialogue with education leaders and thinkers in the international education communities.
In realizing its mission, IRED also organizes local seminars, conferences and workshops on various pressing issues facing the education systems not only in Vietnam but also in other countries. Participants are university lecturers/professors, researchers, school leaders, university administrators and graduate students.
Below are the education-governing laws and sub-laws promulgated by Vietnam's Government and Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) since 2000.
